BROODMARES
The Circle S Ranch broodmares are AQHA and APHA registered, and are foundation-bred with winners of big earnings and various discipline ROMs (Register of Merits) in their pedigrees. We mention a few outstanding winners below for each mare, but in fact each generation of these mares has had recognized performers. Our broodmares are strong and healthy, with good conformations and dispositions. We are providing the proper care and environment for our mares, and they are producing foals with the structural balance, ability and stamina, as well as good minds for dedication and performance. We have put a snapshot of each mare’s foal beside them below.

Look at this great pedigree - halter champions and performance champions!! Notice on her sire's side,
Battle Joined - Stakes Winner of $106,371; and on her dam's side, Jet Charger, World Champion Race
Horse with winnings of $190,068; and in the halter world, there is none more impressive than
Impressive, third generation grandson of Three Bars; and the great Obvious Conclusion.
This mare's foals can go either way - halter or performance!! You know they are going to
be gorgeous.

JJ TOMMY GIRL ("JJ")
1999 APHA Sorrel Tobiano Mare
JJ's pedigree reflects winning halter and performance horses! Notice halter champion Clegg Bars on her
sire's side, and Sky Top Bar and Top Yellow, leading race horses, on her dam's side. Go back one more generation and note the race horse, Jimmer, Thoroughbred, 1955 Stakes Winner of $151,117; and Top Moon, winner of $40,636, also AQHA Hall of Fame. WOW!
JJ is a big, stout mare that consistently throws big, strong and gentle-natured foals. Take a look at the three
foals that she has produced here on our ranch over the past few years. This mare should produce offspring that can run and perform in any discipline.

TINY BLEU SIERRA ("Sierra")
2003 APHA Bay Tobiano Mare
The pedigree of this mare leans heavily toward performance. It is impressive that her sire, Tiny Who Too,
gained much recognition in various performance disciplines and won the APHA Championship Barrel Racing
Award in 2002. He was a grandson of Three Bars. Tiny Bleu Sierra has produced two colts while here on
our ranch: 1) Kids Tiny Pistol, 2008 APHA Bay Overo Colt, foaled 3-15-08; and 2) Kix, 2009 Sorrel Overo Colt,
foaled 3-25-09, to be registered with APHA. Both of these colts are bombproof - on a scale of 1 to 10 -
definitely a "1". This mare obviously can produce high colored foals with fabulous natures. One of our
friends when looking at her foals said, "This mare is all about the stallion!"

LENAS STORM ALERT ("Stormy")
2004 APHA Chestnut Overo Mare
This graceful lady has very many great and well-known names in her pedigree. Her sire lends to halter
horses, and he was winning in the show ring for many years; her dam to performance, with some big
money-makers in her pedigree. Lenas Storm Alert (Stormy) has a beautiful head and face, good conformation,
good bone structure and hooves, and a sweet, sweet disposition. She is the most well-behaved horse we
have - no matter what we do with her!! Her foals should also have these good qualities, and this is what
we see in the one foal she has produced for us - Jewel. We believe this mare will throw a fabulous
foal when bred with our stallion. Look for her foals in the future!!

Lilly was bred and trained in Western Pleasure by Jim Hicks in East Texas.
We purchased her in 2009, and love this mare!
Just look at her pedigree- Leaguers Grand Slam/Zippo Pine Bar/Zippo Pat Bars/Three Bars on the sire's side, and Colonel Lady Star/Colonel Leo Bar/Colonel Freckles/Star Docs Lady/Son Ofa Doc on the dam's side - WOW!!!!

LENA STORM ("Lena")
1997 APHA Chestnut Tobiano Mare
Lena is a strong and healthy mare who has produced some beautiful foals. We kept one mare out of her as one of our broodmares. Lena has well-balanced conformation - short and stocky - she looks like a cutting or roping horse. No wonder! Just look at her pedigree. This is quite a list of well-known performance horses with winnings in various disciplines, especially in NCHA. Look for her to throw a gorgeous athletic foal when bred to our stallion.

We have been very selective about our broodmares, with the consideration of conformation, pedigree, color and disposition. As you check out each mare's pedigree, you will recognize many, many outstanding names which are well-known to all horse lovers in the performance, pleasure and halter horse industries. Each of our mares is unique, and each one is throwing beautiful foals that have good mind-sets. We want to market horses that desire to please and co-operate 100% with their owners. It is wonderful when we see a human and a horse bond to be best friends. We are striving to produce your "best friend", and we believe these mares, especially when bred to our stallion, FG Classy Fella, will produce some of the prettiest, best-natured horses on the market today!!!!
